Update on Covid-19 Security

Hinckley Masonic Hall July 27th

The Board of Directors of Hinckley Masonic Hall Ltd, have been actively taking measures to ensure the Masonic facility is in-line with current Government Covid-19 security guidelines. This will enable the resumption of Masonic activities within the building in the near future. In the meantime the Masonic facilities remain closed until advised further.



Welcome to the home page for the new web site for Freemasonry in Hinckley. This site developed during the summer of 2012, aims to provide information about Freemasonry, Masonic Lodges in Hinckley and the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth.

The varoius pages within the site are currently being updated with relevant information, so please be sure to visit the site regularly to keep up-to-date with the latest additions.

The site will also provide links to other sites of Masonic interest, to the sites of the Hinckley Lodges and to other sites related to our borough.

Our photographs on the changing display on each page, are of our locality and our Masonic Centre located in the centre of Hinckley.

Freemasonry celebrates its tercentenary in 2017 and many events both locally and nationally will be taking place as part of our celebrations. Information on the events taking place at Hinckley as part of the celebrations of this milestone, is available on our Tercentenary page. The logo for our celebrations is illustrated below.

Our web site is approved by the Provinicial Grand Lodge of Leicestershire and Rutland and has been awarded the Charter Mark as below.



The Consecration of the first new Lodge

in Hinckley for over 40 years!


On Thursday May 23rd 2019, the Hinckley Lodge of Installed Masters No. 9972 was Consecrated at the Provincial Headquarters of Freemasonry in Leicestershire & Rutland by the Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro. David Hagger with the assistance of the Provincial Team. Following the Consecration the Primus Master of the Lodge W. Bro. David Fell was installed into the chair of King Solomon by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master W. Bro. Peter Kinder. This great ceremony was followed by a most enjoyable Festive Board. Our photograph below shows the Founders together with the Consecration Team.
