The March 2023 Convocation of the Knights of Malta Royal Arch Chapter No. 50 marked its 50 year Jubilee Anniversary and a special evening was enjoyed by over thirty Companions at the Hinckley Masonic Hall. During the formal proceedings E. Comp. Fraser Walker was installed as Third Principal followed by an oration by E. Comp. Peter Gibson-Leitch on "The First Fifty Years of the Knights of Malta Chapter" This very interesting talk traced the history of Royal Arch Masonry in Hinckley and the formation of the Chapter. All the Companions present were presented with a "A Souvenir History” commemorative booklet.

Following the formal proceedings the Companions were treated to a very enjoyable Festive Board during which a commemorative Gavel was presented to the First Principal, E. Comp. Richard Morris. The gavel had been designed and turned by the Immediate Past First Principal, E. Comp. Bob Packer as a gift to the Chapter though unable to be present, was presented on his behalf by Companion Chris Blunt.
